Riss didn't exactly bother with all that learning binary thing, but the beeping sounds astromechs and the like used to communicate always made her giggle a bit.

Tarlia listened quietly, then finally spoke up, "I can add that he was a refugee, likely fleeing from the Empire." She looked over to her newly arrived fellow Jedi then back to the group. "I spoke to the ship captain who brought the young man to Alderaan, who mentioned having to cross the border though he never outright said the Empire's. There also seems to have been some altercation in how the young man acquired the fees necessary. In short it is likely Vaki commited an act of theft to make his escape, which given his likely circumstance was an understandable act."

She takes a deep breath, "So the possibility exists whatever proof he has of being an Organa was taken from another. Not what I truly believe but the point has to be considered. As does the possibility his belief in his lineage is correct, but it was built on false origins such as a story his parents told him. Regardless the young man is in need of help and whether he speaks truth or falsehood does not change that simple fact."

"Well I'm beat, and the poor droid is sad," she says, looking at T7 and snapping her fingers like it'd make him come over toward her. "Sounds more like to me that we should probably put a stick to the kid and see if his story holds up or something. Little scamp.." she furrows her brow a minute, contemplating something, and then slowly starting to rise, hands reaching out to the sides of the chair and pushing herself up, "I.. should probably check on my ship."

"Not that I don't still totally believe in the kid and everything but uh.." she stands tall, glancing around at everyone. "I'm just.. gonna go check to see if he stole- bring him back here so we can ask him a few more questions, yea no that. No mistrust whatsoever," she says, half chuckling nervously. Back turned toward the door she slowly and carefully steps backwards to get herself moving in the right direction.

T7 beeps at Niall as it rolls after Riss, asking to go with the rogue to make sure the other rogue did not abscond with the first rogue's ship.

He frowned thoughtfully. "I admit, I am dubious that he is a legitimate Organa that we have no records of. But if it was an adoption that occurred off-planet, with limited communication..." Niall shrugged. "I will hear his story."

Grimacing, he turned to Layne. "Layne. You have something?"

She cleared her throat, looking at the people who were still in the office for a moment before looking back at Captain Alderaan.

"Yeah uh..." well this was going to be awkward, "...could I uh... maybe get a copy of the security tapes from my uhm... last visit to Alderaan? I remember you once mentioned having watched them."

There was another clearing of her throat. "I kind of need them."

He looked to the less familiar Jedi and the Hutt. "Is this Riss trustworthy?" He asked.

And then to Layne. "So, what's all this about, exactly?"

They arrive at the ship and find Vaki sitting outside looking bored. He sees Riss and said, "Let me guess they are kicking us out? Where's the Hutt and the Jedi?"

She raised a brow at the multitasking captain. Apparently he was suited to desk duty.

"Uhm..." was the first response when she got her turn on the wheel of misfortune. She was doing a lot of uhm'ing and err'ing today, it seemed.

"...I may have gotten accused of another murder and had a Duchess declare vendetta on me. And no, I didn't do it this time."

Seeing her ship there her hand immediately came up over her heart, "Oh kriff-biscuits," and she put her hand against a wall to steady herself while the other searched for T7's head to give him a few pats. Inhaling deep, exhaling, she finds her cool again and strides forward with T7 commenting, "Wasn't worried for a second," lying, and rather opaquely.

Still, she approached the kid and shook her head, "All in a meet about you, talking with someone who should be able to help," she says, half-turning back the way they'd come from. "Just need you there so you can help start painting the picture a bit better for us, or- something like that," she says, furrowing her brow. "Hey little guy, was that a good metaphor?" she asks, raising a brow at the droid.

"I love this droid," she says, glancing to Vaki with a dumb smile on her face. Shaking her head a little she gives a nod over her shoulder, "Let's get.." she glances down at the T7 "rollin'", and then she walked off immediately as if to cut out the chance for anyone to groan too loudly near her.
