[Day 2 - LA] Skeet Skeet Shooting

Kat welcomed the change of conversation, and instead thought she could try to speak with one of the princes later.

Mistake, sure she had done those.

Stuck in vacuum with no ship around though. "I suppose that means a shot for me." With the weapon handed to her, she stepped away to keep a safe distance between herself and the others.

This shot was much worse than the others, betraying a bit of her own cool having been shaken. With the miss, she took her punishment in the form of a drink. A slight grimace.

"I let an enemy live."

The conversation had passed him by and Gil was happy to fade into the background and let the others enjoy their game.

It was likely a bit more fun to watch anyways.

His mind flashed back to the day that he had nearly become nothing but an animal in humanoid form. He no longer considered her an enemy, simply a person from his past that he had learned to let go of. But in that moment he had struggled with killing her or letting her live. He had chosen the latter, his love winning over his hate, in a shattered mind.

And so perhaps surprisingly to others playing, the ex-Sith took no shot and didn't seem disappointed in himself for it.

[Riss]

Riss took a drink on the first one, rather than even aiming to take a shot for the target. More just that any excuse to drink is a good one. When Kat stepped forward, however, she seemed to struggle with the idea a bit. Uncertain of herself but eventually she stayed her hand on the glass and settled it down into her hand. Stepping back forward she looks around, "I've fallen in love with the wrong person once," she says, glancing around with a focus on a few folk. Attention most namely on the familiar faces to her, Kat and Aurilie, but also the princes. Of the princes she paid special interest to Gaul in this, suspecting something about him a little perhaps. Uncertain as she was she was curious which chord it would strike.

Everyone else mattered less to Riss, but she was still curious. Especially when it came to the droid, that one seemed like it would be funny.

Again, Zeno did not shoot or drink. Funny that the last two statements were answered by the same person for him. Despite the memories being jabbed into his mind repeatedly he keeps a level head. It was years ago after all and not some fresh wound.

Veeone looked at Riss and then around for a moment before beeping some binary and absolutely blowing the crap out of a skeet target.

"Love is an unknown condition."

Delmi watched the proceedings with a smile. If she didn’t have a mission in a couple of hours she’d consider drinking with the rest of them… but she had to stay sober enough to lead.

When the robot blew up the target and expressed his ignorance towards love… she had a realization.

I’m more like the robot than the rest of these people… That’s kinda messed up.

He had heard the sounds of blaster fire, but was still surprised to find target practice in the gardens. Galen had joined the group quietly, watching for a time before being handed a rifle.

He lined up a difficult shot and felt some of the recent frustrations he'd experienced come to mind as he prepared to fire. He pushed it all away, however, as he calmly pulled the trigger and found his mark.

[Aurilie Alde]

After her shooting, she made sure it was empty and switched on the safety. Her weapons wouldn't be pointed in anyone's direction either. Aurilie bent down to pick up the casing left behind with a gloved hand. It was only good manner at the range and she supposed there were some downsides to an old-fashioned slugthrower.

She did take the time to eavesdrop on the group surrounding the princes and Riss. Her eyes did narrow in scrutiny, wondering what sort of antics she was planning with shooting. Nobody was going to shoot at that. Well, except the droid.

She would reload her rifle and closed the bolt. While cradling the wooden stock and body against her, she impassively walked over to the group. "I've fallen in the garden fountain before."

[Galen Sol]

Galen secured the borrowed rifle and looked around at everyone. He didn't know most of them, but there was a familiar face or two.

Veeone turned towards Aurilie as she commented on unexpected fountain person interfaces.

"Negative."

Another skeet was blown to itty bitty pieces.

"Never gone for an accidental swim here," he says with a nod. He raises his blaster rifle and takes down a dangerous skeet.

Galen took another shot, but his aim went wide. There was still something pulling at him.

Perhaps it was surprising to some that Kat did not take a shot in response to Riss' claim that she had fallen in love with the wrong person.

But Aurilie on the other hand made her take a shot, and then a liquid shot.

"However did you manage to fall into the fountain?"

The brothers had yet to play but were enjoying the game. Well Unther thought it was dumb but he would not interfere.

[Riss]

Riss' always found her way back to the same marble surface to sit on. Enjoying watching folk take to her little game with gusto, but that the brothers hadn't taken part yet did bring a raise to her brow. Leaning forward she looks over to Kat and Aurilie, "I.. well, fallen no that doesn't catch me. Had this one girl, she was a real good kisser. A couple drinks, a few stumbles.. fountains are.. they seem like such romantic things to fall into, thought it'd be fun," she glances to Aurilie with a sense of understanding, "They're mostly just hard stony surfaces," she chuckles, shaking her head.

Standing she starts hovering her way over to offer another one but doesn't quite give one yet. Instead hovering around the princes and looking across them, a small smile playing on her expression, "No need to shoot or shot yet boys?"

[Joran Panteer]

Joran grabbed a rifle and said, “What were the rules again?”

[Riss]

Watching Joran break from the group to grab a rifle she smirks. Walking not quite alongside him but more perpindicular to him as she starts preparing to move toward the center while she explains the rules, "So far? We've used the rules that someone stands in the middle and says a thing they've done or had happen to them. That person's got to tell the truth that they've actually done it, and everyone who hasn't has to either shoot a target or take a drink. If you miss your target, you take a drink," she says, glancing to things as they were referenced. Stepping out a little more she lays her hands onto her hips, glancing to Kat and Aurilie with a meaningful purpose to it before looking away.

Focusing back on Joran, and even sparing a glance toward the other princes, she smirks, "This round.. let's switch it up though. Special, just for you, mm?" she gives a raise of her brow. "I'm gonna say something that I've had happen to me, and if it's happened to you, you take a shot or drink. Sounds fun? I'm gonna make you take a shot, or a shot, and I'm pretty confident about that," she chuckles.

[Aurilie Alde]

Aurilie looked at Riss cooly with her resting noble face. She was almost sure that she was going to catch her with that offering. Then again, Riss had done a lot while she was away and she would have to reconsider her tactics. They did get a saucy story out of it and she did catch two participants at least. She gave them each a single nod in thanks for being good sports.

The game was obviously an excuse to shoot or shoot, Aurilie figured. She thought about more it and found herself wondering if she should be encouraging or discouraging Riss from drinking more in this circumstance.

What is the play here? She thought, looking to Gaul and Joran.
