Abra Cadaver (D3 LE Xero's)

[Delmi Koor]

Delmi arrived at the doors of Xero's Chateau late that evening. In all honesty she probably just wanted to have a drink and go to bed at this point... but who doesn't want to look over a dead body just before bed?

She glanced to the right and left of the front door as she waited for someone to let her in.

[Dapper Dog]

The droids show her in to the chateau and towards an interior room next to the kitchen. It's like a lab.

Inside is the dead corpse and a droid working at a computer terminal.

[Delmi Koor]

Delmi walked up next to the droid and put her hands on her hips.

She had seen many corpses in her life and most didn’t even cause a moment’s pause, but she couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed glancing down at this one.

“What have we figured out so far?” She asked the droid.

[Dapper Dog]

"It's a woman, or was a woman, human, been dead a bunch of years. Not your mom, or maybe she is and you have very different genetic structures... I don't understand genetics," they said walking into the room.

[Delmi Koor]

She nodded, "So... uhh... how does something like this happen?"

[Dapper Dog]

"How does someone die? I mean how much time do you have?" they responded. "Oh you mean the old switcheroo, hopefully."

"I would guess you put a dead body in a box and call it a day."

[Delmi Koor]

Delmi nodded her head but her eyes closed. She put up her thumb and index finger on the bridge of her nose and began massaging herself to relieve the tension of the day.

"We don't have any more information on who put this woman in the ground or why? Was someone there at the funeral?"

[Dapper Dog]

“Well you first, what have you found out? You have been knocking around the Nobles and the Jedi, surely you found something useful,” Xero asked.

[Delmi Koor]

Delmi shrugged, "Not much that I can make sense of... Talked with Duchess Rist... she didn't seem to know anything; or at least didn't say she did. Talked with Layne Hoshin because apparently she found a picture of the three of them somewhere. She's mentioned some sort of Force vision thing about Delaya... Do you know much about Delaya? Seems just like any other system."

[Dapper Dog]

“Delaya is the second inhabited world of the Alderaan system, it’s similar to Coruscant, an ecumenopolis. Or nearly so. City planet. It’s where all the heavy industry was relocated to, leaving Alderaan pristine. What exactly did she mention about a planet, because a whole planet is not a clue it’s just a destination,” he responded.

[Delmi Koor]

"Something about needing to go to Delaya to find Vidara Rist... Thinks she might still be alive?" She replied.

[Dapper Dog]

"So Vidara could be alive... and your mom's body was missing... well there is a... the Roost. It's a safehouse we had off the books, have not used it in years probably cleared out but it's a start. Failing that you could meet with Tabasu the Hutt, runs a legitimate business from The Royal Crown casino," they said.

"Just be careful with Tabasu, word is they might be in league with the Cunning Man."

[Delmi Koor]

"The Cunning man?" She asked.

[Dapper Dog]

"The Cunning man?" She asked.

"Mysterious criminal mastermind type... or something," Xero responded. "Very dangerous."

[Delmi Koor]

"You've run into him before?" She asked.

[Dapper Dog]

"Directly, no. But I have on occasion come across people working for him or running from him."

Xero tapped the corpse's head and said, "I don't try to cross paths, healthier that way."

[Delmi Koor]

Delmi nodded and let out a small sigh. It had been a long day and it seemed like the days would only get longer in the next week.

"So to learn more about my mother I need to head to Delaya to an old safehouse and go poke some superspy in the eye on accident? This is more troublesome a quest than I thought."

[Dapper Dog]

"Well you don't have to do anything, you could just stop," Xero responded.

[Delmi Koor]

"I could..." She said with a nod.

"It's not like I know her well enough to risk all this crazy stuff. All she did was give birth to me and then hightail it out of town..."

She sighed, "We got people attacking the prince... all sorts of dangerous crap to deal with."

[Dapper Dog]

"Yes, that is unbecoming of typical Alderaan behavior," they said with a shake of their head.
