"Ah, good. I'm just arriving." he said. "Have some things to tell you both about the kath hounds. Be there in a moment."

She tapped on Veeone's shoulder to pause their descent for a moment

''A friend is coming to join us. Probably won't be too long.''

"Roger, roger."

Veeone set to watching the perimeter. A perimeter that existed solely in the droid's mind.

[Galen Sol]

The perimeter was soon breached by a Republic ally, as Galen emerged from a corridor.

"I'm afraid the hounds are a bigger threat than anticipated. There's definitely something more to what's going on out there." he sighed. "Have you found anything new here?"

[Baesal Zyn]

''Not in this descent so far'' she replied ''We are going for the joiner corpses and the samples we took yesterday...you remember the way?''

[Galen Sol]

"This way right?" he began to lead the way. "There appear to be caverns beneath the ruins of the processing plant. But, we didn't get close enough to see them."

[Baesal Zyn]

''Oh, right...let's do the tests then we'll explore...you okay with that Veeone?''

[Galen Sol]

"I mean the hounds lair. I definitely think we'll need you Veeone." he added.

[Baesal Zyn]

''No one is better at assaulting bunkers'' she smiled at that

[V1-V0]

"This unit is specialised at assaulting armoured static fortifications. DO you have the scouting data from the refinery. This unit would like to study the schematics available if you have."

But that was the future, for now it proceeded in the direction Baesal had indicated.

[Galen Sol]

"I do not." he shook his head. "It looked like it got bombed pretty well, probably exposing the caverns. There are chemical clouds everywhere. And, we think someone may be controlling the hounds."

[Baesal Zyn]

''Ominous...perhaps a Sith is still hidden there?'' She did not like the idea ''We should be there right around...now''

"Sith? Here? This unit was told this was no longer an active warzone. The devious Sith Empire must not be allowed to tarnish a world of the glorious Republic."

It blurted out a string of invective binary.

[Galen Sol]

"It's possible." he shrugged. "Of course not all Force users are part of the Sith or the Jedi, nor are they all like me."

"Here we are."

[Baesal Zyn]

''Not all, true. But due to the nature of the site it is more likely...or at least a dark side user.''

[Galen Sol]

"I definitely agree." he nodded.

He looked around again at the carnage they'd found the night before. "Did you get a chance to study the device?"

[Dapper Dog]

The scanner probe was deployed again as V1 approached the various corpses . . . and corpse parts . . . and no idea what that is . . . and really?

A miracle happened. With a tiny bit of scanner and processor overload.

Once again Baesal was amazed by the combat medic's medical expertise. She barely understood what he had been doing but things seemed to come together.
