"Thank you for coming with me," Kat stated once more to Tethys as they approached the security office at the spaceport where the violent protesters were being held for the time being. She had earlier retold the events of yesterday, where a group of anti-crown and anti-Republic protesters had been peacefully rallying at the festival grounds, and suddenly things had turned confrontational with attacks on one of the Panteer princes.

The attackers had been subdued non-lethally, by herself and others present, but there were still questions that needed to be answered.

The fair-skinned and light-haired Knight looked to her much taller and darker counterpart, feeling a fair amount of respect for one of the Jedi here that seemed to have a similar mindset to her own. "It seems we are working side-by-side more than I anticipated, but it's an honor I welcome."

The Organa security guards look to the Jedi to see how they want to handle these criminals.

"I've noticed the Force has a way of throwing people together in patterns," Tethys observes by way of agreement. "Or maybe we see the patterns that matter to us?"

She gives the Organa guards a businesslike nod. "This is your show, I believe, Knight Ulgo. I'll follow your lead." Throwing in Kat's family name might not hurt when it comes to establishing rapport and authority here...

Kat nodded, finding an easy rapport with Tethys' calm manner and thoughtful actions.

The Organa security guards look to the Jedi to see how they want to handle these criminals.

"Jedi Knight Katarzyna Ulgo, and Jedi Knight Tethys Carrack, sir," she greeted the guards with a bow, folding her hands together infront of her to keep them visible to their eyes in a clear show of them not being near her saber. "I was present yesterday during the attack and helped subdue the attackers. By your leave, we wish to speak with the prisoners, to learn more of what led to the violence yesterday."

"Of course, master Jedi, just this way," the officer in charge said. He guided them to a cell with the criminals inside about four to a cell behind ray shielding. There were three such cells on this floor filled with rabble rousers.

They followed the officer, and gave him a nod of thanks.

Seeing the protesters from yesterday, Kat stepped forward giving them a light bow. "Some of you might recognize me from yesterday's altercation. I'm Jedi Knight Katarzyna Ulgo, and I would like to speak to you about what happened, if I may have you cooperation, please."

One stands up and said, "Hey we didn't do nothing, let us out!"

Kat looks at them, trying to remember their faces from yesterday. "Were you not part of the group that attack prince Joran, as well as myself and others who were present?"

[Dapper Dog]

"I got into a fight no big deal," he said with a shrug. He is definitely one of the violent protestors.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"A fight that disrupted a peaceful gathering, and attacked a member of the royal family," Kat explained calmly to him.

"I wish to know why. Why instigate violence in such a manner? Surely it would only detract from your cause, and turn those who were listening against you, no?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Because Panteer is bunch of Imp lovers, that's why," the man spits back.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"And what makes you think that? The day before they were all serving the people, the queen included, and they are strong supporters of the Republic. They are not flying the banners of the Empire."

Kat kept her tone warm and calm.

[Tethys Carrack]

Tethys stands a pace behind Kat and a little to the side, hands resting on her belt, face impassive.

[Dapper Dog]

"And what makes you think that? The day before they were all serving the people, the queen included, and they are strong supporters of the Republic. They are not flying the banners of the Empire."

Kat kept her tone warm and calm.

"Maybe, but I heard different. They just out and about to throw people off the scent," he responded.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"Do you have proof of this, or you just listening to what others are telling you without proof of their own?" Kat retorted, trying to introduce logic into the conversation with these people.

[Dapper Dog]

He frowned and said, "No, not really, but I seen it on the holonet everyone is talking about it. My cousin sent me a link."

Another said, "No I didn't you sent it to me!"

The original man shrugged and said, "I guess I don't have proof, proof."

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"Right."

She sighed. What a mess.

Turning more to speak to all the ones that were gathered up here, rather than just the one man, Kat raised her voice to make sure they all heard her. "You cannot believe everything you see or hear on the Holonet, my good people. I understand things are hard after the war, and the treaty of Coruscant. I understand the anger, but pushing our home into a civil war is not going to help any of that. Many of your loved ones will be hurt, or possibly die if that happens. It won't give you any satisfaction, or answers."

"We are Alderaanians. We are the founders of the Republic, a beacon of democracy. We've all fought to protect and preserve Alderaan against the Empire. Don't do the work for them by tearing it all apart... don't you see that it's the Empire that has the most to gain by us fighting among ourselves?"

They grumble and frown and and a young woman said, "Yeah... I guess I got caught up in all that, you think that House Panteer is on the level, master Jedi?"
