[Day 4 - LA] The Beach Episode (Twin Event?)

The Pantoran former Senator adjusted the sunglasses. His trunks were comfortable, as he watched the party from the edges. His hand held a drink with a tiny umbrella in it, served in a coconut. His toes dug into the sand, feeling the comfort of the coarseness between the digits of his feet.

It was good to relax while on a job. And who doesn't love a day on the beach.

[Omandri Rist]

Aurilie had a good idea that Cynella was enterprising but she didn't know that she was bold enough to seek a Jedi!

However, she did turn her attention to the game and nodded to Omandri's suggestion. If they were going to herd cats, it was always good to start early and while the sun was bright. "That works fine enough, especially when we're playing with low stakes...for now. Also, well met, good ser. I am Aurilie Alde, Prince of Mount Joral."

Omandri turned and gave her a smile and extended a hand to her "Well, well met to you as well Aurilie." He said with a chuckle "I am Omandri Rist younger brother of Duchess Giandra Rist. Glad to see you come down from your mountain to join us."He said maintaining his friendly smile.

[Niall Organa]

"Now tha's somethin' worth congratulating Major," Garth replied with a slap on Niall's back. "So is th' lucky Mrs Major Captain here at th' festival?"

Niall grinned. "Thank you. It had been a long time coming. I'm very happy that we finally managed to make the time for it."

Niall nodded. "I don't think she's here here." Niall waved a hand, indicating the nearby beach. "But her name is Alysele." He cleared his throat. "She's a Jedi, actually."

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

Cynella tapped her lips in thought, her other hand resting on her hips. "Oh I heard that she was, no, is a great Jedi Knight. She certainly had the demeanor of someone with her affairs all sorted out."

She shrugged, maintaining her smile. "Life is complicated, undoubtedly so. If you think about it this way, if I were to be so thoroughly seduced by you, then your dear cousin would no longer have to worry about me competing for His Highness." She smiled and then broke out giggling. "But I'm getting ahead of myself. My House simply wishes for me to find a suitable spouse here and you certainly fit the bill, among others."

Kat gaped for a moment. "Me... seducing...?" Sure, she knew what seduction was. In theory. She'd seen Riss do it. She'd seen movies. Read a trashy romance novel once.

"I... am not sure I would be a good pick for you, my lady."

"How shall we divide the teams? Team captains, or drawing straws?" Kat asked with some renewed focus.

Niall grinned. "Thank you. It had been a long time coming. I'm very happy that we finally managed to make the time for it."

Niall nodded. "I don't think she's here here." Niall waved a hand, indicating the nearby beach. "But her name is Alysele." He cleared his throat. "She's a Jedi, actually."

"Int'resting, a Jedi? Ain't that an attachment?" Garth asks, before waving off the comment.

"Eh whatever, if y'all 're happy, then that's all that matters."

[Cynella Andrim]

Cynella smiled faintly. "Oh come now, I can't be that intimidating. You must have charged into the breach of far worse than anything I have to offer." She tipped her floppy hat in a bit of playfulness. "Your eligibility is entirely up to you."

She clasped her hands together, she too somewhat distracted by the game. "Yes! I would be quite pleased with any team arrangement. Oh yes indeed," she concluded with a wink.

[Riss]

YES! Game! Thank you for saving me, fair prince!

"Captains," Riss steps forward again, taking a sip of her drink as she looks around. "I'm one, and Kat or Gaul, whoever wants it more," she says with a brief smirk as she looks to Kat.

[Niall Organa]

"Int'resting, a Jedi? Ain't that an attachment?" Garth asks, before waving off the comment.

"Eh whatever, if y'all 're happy, then that's all that matters."

"Well, yes," Niall frowned. "Naturally, I'm not aware of all of the particulars. But as I understand it, some attachments are acceptable, so long as the Jedi understands them, and can handle them." Niall shrugged. "And apparently I'm a 'stabilizing influence', or so a Master Orgus told me. I took it as a compliment."

He shrugged again. "Besides, Jedi are still sentients. One can hardly stop them from loving another, if they're truly intent on doing so, eh?"

"Well, yes," Niall frowned. "Naturally, I'm not aware of all of the particulars. But as I understand it, some attachments are acceptable, so long as the Jedi understands them, and can handle them." Niall shrugged. "And apparently I'm a 'stabilizing influence', or so a Master Orgus told me. I took it as a compliment."

He shrugged again. "Besides, Jedi are still sentients. One can hardly stop them from loving another, if they're truly intent on doing so, eh?"

"Ah agree," Garth concurs. "An' besides, ah imagine repressin' that sort o' thing jus' ends up worse in th' long run."

A wry chuckle escapes his lips. "But as someone who's only been declared a bad influence ah'll just smile at th' thought of anyone handlin' yerself."

"War and courtship are very different things," Kat said, a touch more composed now, and she took a deep breath. Thankfully the conversation was moving away from that now.

"Captains," Riss steps forward again, taking a sip of her drink as she looks around. "I'm one, and Kat or Gaul, whoever wants it more," she says with a brief smirk as she looks to Kat.

"Right. I will volunteer for it. His highness would probably like to have the day off from such burdens such as captaining. If that's alright." She looked at Riss, and there was something in her tone that recognized. That unspoken question of what are you planning?.

"Rock, paper, scissor to decide who chooses first?"

Cynella pursed her lips. Did I miss my opportunity to be Captain Kuat in this game? She glanced over to Niall and then sighed.

[Breela Po]

"Hey there cap!" Breela interjects still toting the ice chest, "Sounds like you guys are having a lively conversation." She turns to Garth, "Hi there! Breela Po, nice to meet you! Hope you don't mind me butting in, haven't had many chances to talk to this guy since I got here." She extends her hand while motioning at Niall.

[Niall Organa]

"Ah agree," Garth concurs. "An' besides, ah imagine repressin' that sort o' thing jus' ends up worse in th' long run."

Laughing, Niall clapped Garth on the shoulder. "Well, if anyone asks me, you're alright. Perhaps that counts for something."

"Hey there cap!" Breela interjects still toting the ice chest, "Sounds like you guys are having a lively conversation." She turns to Garth, "Hi there! Breela Po, nice to meet you! Hope you don't mind me butting in, haven't had many chances to talk to this guy since I got here." She extends her hand while motioning at Niall.

Smiling, Niall turned to Breela. "Not at all. Please, join us." He shifted, angling to face both of them. "Breela, this is Garth. I served with him on Bankor. Garth, this is Breela. She's running a training dojo for House Organa right on our grounds." He looked at Garth, eyebrows going up (politely). "Perhaps you'd like to stop by sometime?"

"Hey there cap!" Breela interjects still toting the ice chest, "Sounds like you guys are having a lively conversation." She turns to Garth, "Hi there! Breela Po, nice to meet you! Hope you don't mind me butting in, haven't had many chances to talk to this guy since I got here." She extends her hand while motioning at Niall.

"More th' merrier Miss Po." Garth replies as he shakes the offered hand.

[Riss]

"Right. I will volunteer for it. His highness would probably like to have the day off from such burdens such as captaining. If that's alright." She looked at Riss, and there was something in her tone that recognized. That unspoken question of what are you planning?.

"Rock, paper, scissor to decide who chooses first?"

Riss grins broadly, perhaps noting on that unspoken question and giving no budge to the answer which she kept to herself. A sip of her drink, "Rock, paper, scissor. Let's do it," she says, chuckling and stepping up, laying out a hand.

Smiling, Niall turned to Breela. "Not at all. Please, join us." He shifted, angling to face both of them. "Breela, this is Garth. I served with him on Bankor. Garth, this is Breela. She's running a training dojo for House Organa right on our grounds." He looked at Garth, eyebrows going up (politely). "Perhaps you'd like to stop by sometime?"

"Perhaps, though it do concern me that such simple travels're denied some individuals right now."

[Breela Po]

Smiling, Niall turned to Breela. "Not at all. Please, join us." He shifted, angling to face both of them. "Breela, this is Garth. I served with him on Bankor. Garth, this is Breela. She's running a training dojo for House Organa right on our grounds." He looked at Garth, eyebrows going up (politely). "Perhaps you'd like to stop by sometime?"

Breela laughs at Niall's suggestion, "Drumming up more business for me cap? You wouldn't believe the number of girls that come in hoping to see you." She smiles warmly at Garth, "And it's good to make your acquaintance Mr. Ulgo. I saw you stand up to the mob on day one. Color me impressed. A lot has certainly happened since then."

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

Riss grins broadly, perhaps noting on that unspoken question and giving no budge to the answer which she kept to herself. A sip of her drink, "Rock, paper, scissor. Let's do it," she says, chuckling and stepping up, laying out a hand.

Kat pushed shades up to to her forehead, pushing some of her loose hair back as well. She had her game-face on now.

One hand was holding the half-empty glass of Sexy on the beach, and the other was ready. "Alright. Three..." the hand began to move "... two... one!"

Omandri turned and gave her a smile and extended a hand to her "Well, well met to you as well Aurilie." He said with a chuckle "I am Omandri Rist younger brother of Duchess Giandra Rist. Glad to see you come down from your mountain to join us."He said maintaining his friendly smile.

Aurilie gladly took the extended hand and shook it, perhaps making her self-aware that this was one of the few occasions where she couldn't favour gloves with her outfit. She lifted her sunglasses to rest on her forehead. "Pleased to make your acquaintance, Ser Omandri. It's not every day where the Houses of Alderaan get together and share the duties of playing host with the ruling family. I do believe that Alderaan is really due for a resurgence of good spirits. Are you familiar with volleyball?"

She gaze went to the captain choosing process, mildly curious at how teams were going to be formed.

"How's the water?" Gil asked the jedi woman as she finished squeezing out her locks. He was pretty sure he'd seen her around a bit and in jedi robes, but they had never spoken. Still no time the present right?

"For a Human? it's perfect," the Jedi says, a serene half-smile softening the line of her mouth. "Clear as plasteel and just cool enough. A person could get too used to perfection on this planet."
