Tyche was of course given enough time to continue her reflections, but would eventually have been informed that the Duchess at least agreed to keep her out of this vendetta, for whatever that'd be worth.

"Alright. I would like to know why I not made aware of this vendetta early? I was at a gathering of Jedi coming for the weddings. Which included her. That was when I was made aware of this fact. I went to her ship later, because I honestly did not know what was going on at all." He looked dour. "I am a Jedi, but I do not wish to be considered a traitor of the house, consorting with her like that."

"Jedi frown upon what we do, there is no way of being both an agent of Rist and a Jedi," she said honestly.

"Okay. You may think I am trying to information about Layne, but it is not." He looked off to the distance. "I am see all the damage and wounds that the war has wrought. I lived here long enough before joining the Order, that it speaks to me to stay." He looked back at the duchess.

"Well if you truly wish to know what it means to be Rist then, you have some learning to do," she said.

"Jedi rarely cast aside their lives, even less so to be an assassin no matter their previous role. We have only two concerns, House Rist and our survival."

"So, when I met Layne, she seemed the be full of bluster, and really easy to anger. I can not see her being much of a problem dealing for her. She said she killed Galen, but denied killing your sister. My training as an Arbiter, I believe her. I do not think she has it in her to deceive anyone. Most of the Sith I had dealing with were more honest than most people are."

"That seems an odd line, and I see that you believe your words but if not her then who? No, if she wants my mercy then she needs to prove that she is innocent of that murder. She will still have to answer for her crime," she replied.

"Well, who would benefit the most from your sister's death? And who told you it was Layne, if there was not any camera photage?" He furrows his brow.

She gestured for him to follow and started walking, “A member of House Ulgo that I trust passed the information onto me, recently. I had no reason to discount this information but if you say she could be innocent, well then. I am going to need to know if this information is false. You want to be Rist, then it’s time you learn what it means to serve the House of Daggers in the Dark. Find out if Bilyana Ulgo is lying to me.”

“I don’t know much about them, that needs to change.”

"Hum, new information from Ulgo, you say? The timing and the informant are curious. Rist, Ulgo and Organa are allies, so that would be a wise to believe Ulgo. But, again, Layne is as transparent as clear transparisteel. That is something I have to look in to. I will get to that right away, duchess." He bowed politely to the duchess before he walked away in thought. "Oh, is there anything in particular you trust in House Ulgo? I did meet a Katarzyna Ulgo yesterday too."

Omandri had been present the whole time surely. He merely stayed toward the back and observed. He was no warrior and not the most intimidating sight around. As the jedi accused of murder left omandri fell in behind his sister and the jedi who was a Rist and may become one again. He let them talk and furrowed his brow thinking to himself about the moving pieces of the problem before them.

"Oh... I thought you didn't care about House business?" his sister said.

Omandri looked at her flatly "I care about my family. And i care about justice for my sister." He said with maybe a bit more bite than he had intended.

"I also care when my house declares a death sentence on a jedi. Especially when there seems to be some doubt if we have the right person. We don't want to start a war with the Order unless we are certain." His emotions were higher than he displayed, that was something they had in common neither one wore their heart on their sleeve.

"I was certain when I declared it," she said. "Thus far the Order understands our issue is with Layne."
