[Day 2 - EA] Lillies at Play

[Jameela Panteer]

Jameela and Lana were walking together in the garden observing the poetry and the flowers and taking amongst themselves and any guests that approached. Though not seen one could suspect that the Queen’s Guard were nearby.

And behind them by several steps was the large Blackguard, Ser Monstrous.

Lana walked at the Princess' side.

Omandri had been in the garden again taking time among the beautiful flowers to try and calm his nerves. Only on the planet for a couple of days and there were already so many things going on, so many problems that needed solving. Alpha sat next to him Omandri knew he wasn't a real dog but the droid's presence often calmed him.

As the princess approached Omandri rose greeting her with a bow "Princess Jameela, Emissary Beniko a wonderful day for a stroll it seems. I trust you're both doing well today?"

When Pantha had informed him of the Princesses' whereabouts later that day Keyhote had set the squire to polishing his armour to a mirror sheen. Now that if fairly glowed in the afternoon sun the Hutt had felt prepared to venture forth and speak with the object of so many suitor's desire.

The two waited patiently in the line of those seeking to pay respect, Keyhote at one point letting a little old lady with a walker cut in front of him 'since she might well die before reaching the Jameela otherwise'. And when the space ahead of them eventually opened, the two stepped forward.

Keyhote bowed respectfully to Jameela.
"Honoured greetings fair Princess."
Politely to Lana
"And to you, Lady Sith."
Before giving the trailing Blackguard an interested squint.
"Ser Blackguard."
Pantha just bowed.

Keyhote looked the figure over curiously having had few chances to see a Blackguard in action yet, and certainly not one so monstrous.
Sando just looked annoyed everyone present was some kind of giant.

"Ser, a question when you have the moment. What weapon do you bear when needs must?"

"What is the point of this line of questioning, Hutt?" Ser Monstrous replied, his gaze still watching the Princess.

"Curiosity. I am a knight, you are a Blackguard, and an impressive one. It is only natural I should wish to know whether your company bares steel when it comes to a matter of honour."

[Dapper Dog]

"I was not aware that the Hutt Cartels were aware of Honor, that was not I experienced on Nar Shaddaa," he said gruffly in reply.

"Well, Hutt customs can be a complicated affair for most bipeds, and Nar Shaddaa is hardly a centre of chivalric behaviour. It sounds like you have a history though Ser Blackguard! Have you quested about under your own power? Or were you sworn to another?"

"It's been a great day, we had a great turn out this morning," she said warmly.

Omadri smiled with a warmth that mirrored her tone "indeed it was! It's good to see not only the nobility but royalty of Alderaan giving back to its people." His smile gained a bit of a mischievous quality "even if Prince Joran looked like he'd rather have been trapped in a pit with a pack of hungry Manka cats."

He laughed lightly "in all seriousness though it was nice to be able to help people a bit."

[Garth Wayne Ulgo]

Garth is wandering the garden with a small basket of flowers as he comes across the procession of people. He offers a polite smile and nod, observing for a few minutes and seeing Lana unengaged approaches.

"My thanks fer th' tip 'bout the soup time this mornin' ah think it was nice t' see so many people doin' some good."

Lana walked at the Princess' side.

A sudden Jedi appeared!

"Well well well, look who the manka cat dragged in." She smiled widely. "Long time no see Beniko."

She curtsied towards the princess as well. "Princess."

Her eyes turned towards the large figure, towering in a looming way, all friendly in the "I will kill you and eat breakfast over your corpse" kind of way.

Aly extended her senses, trying to gauge the mood of Ser Blackarmorsocool.

Kellen was also walking through the gardens trying to think of some sweet lines for his incredible poem. It was easy to be distracted however as one of his favourite hobbies was the study of medicinal plants.

"Good grief, is that a Delayan Thistle? I havent seen one in years." Its spines reminded him of the Blackguard's armour styling. Looking up he spotted the small but growing group. The Princess and her friend seemed rather busy at the moment and it would be rude to intrude on Omandri's conversation, so he just bowed politely if noticed and returned to an examination of the plants.

It continued tending to the garden.

"My old life is dead, I serve only Thul now," he said grimly.

Taking a deep breath after experiencing that performance, he composed himself rather quickly and started to wander around the greenery before him. If nothing else, the flowers were beautiful to behold. The colors around him were something he could never see on his home planet. Yet, it grew her, maintained with such passion and care. It was a artform that they had mastered to create and even someone such as himself could not escape the grasp of its glory.

For a few moments, at least, he could walk around and be calm here. It was just a natural instinct as to breathe for him in this place. It wouldn't last, but he would at least strive to enjoy it while it did.

He laughed lightly "in all seriousness though it was nice to be able to help people a bit."

"We have a duty to so, we cannot become so disconnected that we take them for granted. I spent so much time abroad off-world, you forget how much the rest of the Republic struggles especially in the outer regions. It really opened my eyes to well how sheltered and privileged I really am," she said.

Jameela frowned and added, "I apologize, My brother just... he means well, and he came around eventually."
