One-stop Bar Hop [Day 2, EN]

[Riss]

Making her way back to Bar Shaddaa before settling in for the night, Riss gets herself a fancy looking drink and sits at the bar but turned to face the room itself. Dressed in more casual clothing but leaving the ratty jacket, and her blaster behind. Given the atmosphere it was a loose hanging top with a diagonal cut that revealed some of her stomach. Cascader worn on her wrist taking a brighter green color to help draw eyes toward her tonight, make her stand out a little without standing out too much. From here she has all ample ability to scan around while leaning back against the bar, both elbows up. There's a lingering hope she can find someone interesting enough to take her mind off living for a little while.

Omandri made his way back to Bar Shaddaa the previous nights experience more pleasant than he remembered and he wasn't sure if it was the place or the company and so like any good scientist he decided the best thing to do was to run more trials to prove the hypothesis.

The doctor was wearing some pretty casual clothing, just a simple white shirt and black pants with a nicely fitted jacket over top, nice but not over the top. He walked in and scoped out the bar looking about to see how many interesting characters would be there that night. He caught the eye of a familiar, and very pleasing, face. He smiled warmly to Riss and went up to the bar a few spots down and ordered a drink looking up to see if he could catch her eye.

[Riss]

Riss didn't seem to notice him right away, more from the fact that she was scanning the floor and over by the pool than anything else. However, her eyes did eventually glance up and down the bar and found Omandri. A brow raised, she considered something for a moment before her smile rose and she waved him on over. Glancing toward a seat near her before turning back into the one she was leaning against the bar beside.

[Nudimsu]

After today's performance on stage, the Chiss figured another whiskey would be appropriate. Now was two times in two days he had to go in front of people he could care less for and perform something.

Whiskey was a good solution to help with this problem of how he was feeling. This place was apparently free, and he could only slink into the corners of this ceremony for so long before it got to him. He was wearing some casual clothes, but otherwise it seemed like he wasn't trying to stand out too much.

He sat down at the tavern with the name he could probably do without. and looked around, motioning to the barkeep. "Hey man, come down here." So he got down there. "What you want?" The bartender responded. "One Whiskey." The Chiss said coldly, no further fuss over it.

Looking over at the two, in the corner of the table, he stared at them for a few moments with his red gaze before turning back and pulling out his datapad and pushing a few buttons, deleting a text document with vigor before going on to look at the budget for the week for his ship.

[Omandri Rist]

Riss didn't seem to notice him right away, more from the fact that she was scanning the floor and over by the pool than anything else. However, her eyes did eventually glance up and down the bar and found Omandri. A brow raised, she considered something for a moment before her smile rose and she waved him on over. Glancing toward a seat near her before turning back into the one she was leaning against the bar beside.

He approached as Riss waved him forward "So you come here often?" He asked in a jokingly suave way as he leaned on the bar next to her and let out a small chuckle "how was the day Riss?" He asked as He took a sip of his drink.

[Riss]

With the arrival of the Chiss while she was waiting for Omandri to come over she regards him for a moment. It was a shame their type was usually the type to get huffy when you even approached them cause they were always pretty decent to look at. Was a real shame, but not one she had to linger on as she glances back the other way as Omandri sits.

Head leaning into the palm of her hand, craning her neck at him, "Wild, crazy, and exciting," she says, laughing into a drawn out sigh.

"Yours?" she asks on an upturn in her tone.

[Omandri Rist]

"Sounds like the wrong aspects of all those words by your reaction. You usually live for wild, crazy, and exciting." He noted with a raised eyebrow as he sat to give her neck a break.

"Busy. Keeping Up with appointments, making appearances. Writing..poetry?" He said with a bit of humored exasperation "not really how I expected it all to do down."

[Riss]

"Sounds all pretty standard Alderaanie to me.." she posits with a hand laid out on the bar. Looking down toward it she drags a finger along the surface idly distracting herself a little. Focusing in on the spot behind her finger to see if she picked up a lot of dust or anything, which she unsurprisingly didn't but she still checked. "And I do! It just gets uh.. a little exhausting at the end of the day sometimes, mm? Need a little R and R to relax," she chuckles with a passive nature to her tone.

[Omandri Rist]

He grinned at her with an air of mischief "and I bet nursing a hangover for the first half of the day doesn't help." He says in a teasing tone before taking a drink.

"And it may be standard Alderaan but I haven't even been on the planet for almost six years and the six before that I was only here while I was on leave." He chuckled a little "I'm already starting to miss roughing it out in the jungles of Kashyyykk. At least there you know what predators are trying to eat you."

[Riss]

Leaning up off her hand she looks up and down the bar, she finds the tender that serviced Nudimsu just before and flags him down. "No, it really doesn't," she chuckles, turning back to Omandri in the meantime. Hands laying out across the countertop she pats along it and then 'smooths out' the surface with a wipe of her hand, "Having to deal with a lot of predators hunting you around these parts? In only two days Omandri? I thought I was the super exciting one," she says, half turning in her seat to face him rather than the bar.

Leaning her head down onto her hand again she gives him her undivided attention in a show, "I'm ready for the story, lay it on me," she says with a slight tease to her tone.

Omandri looked at Riss for a handful of seconds as she flagged down the bartender and raised an eyebrow as she made somewhat of a show of giving her full attention to him he chuckled a little bit "Well based on what you asked me last night I'm sure you're living plenty of exciting times yourself." he said with an easy smile and a pause as he thought for a few moment. Finally he sighed a little "Well honestly I can't really talk to much about details here but long story short Alderaan, more specifically the politics, is a predator in and of itself. I actually meant to talk to you about it a bit last night but someone didn't listen and got too drunk to stay awake." he said with a teasing grin.

He took a drink of his own glass "Long story short my family is thinking about making a mistake and I need to stop them but my sister is stubborn as ever. Until she gets some evidence she won't change course." he sighed once more "Oh and my sister is also trying to kill a Jedi so thats fun." he said giving her a slightly tired smile.

[Riss]

"What kinda mistake do you think they're gonna make?" she asks, following that tired smile almost immediately but as the bartender walks over she gives him a look that inspires a moment of pause. Looking to him she orders a very specific drink, one with a particular brandy mixed with a few rather expensive sounding juices which all just meant she was completely taking advantage of this free drinks thing. At the end of the order she asks what Nudimsu ordered, and then frowning she orders two of the one she crafted and asked the second be sent over to him. "Tell him it was from me," she says, and the bartender walks off.

"Also, by the way, that was your fault. Brushing my arm like you did? Pretty much put me to sleep yourself," she chuckles, shaking her head. "Anyway.. where were we?"

Omandri smirked a little "That part will have to remain mystery until you get me alone again dear Captain." His tone was light but she could tell by his eyes he was rather serious about that.

Omandri watched her order the drink for herself and the Chiss "oh yes it was just me rubbing your arm, had absolutely nothing to do with all the drinking and you downing two fingers of Starshine which would get a wookie tipsy." He teased a little

As the bartender delivered the drink to the Chiss Omandri leaned in slightly "Someone you know? He seemed to be staring at us when he entered."

[Riss]

"Such a tease," she groans playfully. Casting him a side eye and a smirk. Glancing off back toward the Chiss she shakes her head, "Not yet," she says, looking back with that same smirk returned.

"I'm figuring that'll change soon though. Got me curious and all," she says with a brief shrug. Hand laying out on the counter she reached over more toward his side. Extending a finger toward his glass if he set it down. "Anyway.. what else is there to talk about then? You figure out anything on what I asked you about?" she asks, raising a brow.

[Nudimsu]

Nudimsu looked on at his datapad, virtually ignoring the others as they spoke. Mostly thanks to the increase in profit from the week. Very strong week in sales after some side jobs from less than favorable people. At least they were in the black.

Although that was interrupted when a drink was placed before him. It wasn't whiskey. Brandy, from the smell of it. He looked to the barkeep rather confused, to which he motioned to the two over at the table. Then he looked at them for a long moment before looking at the drink and sighed. He'd never been in this sort of situation before.

Someone bought me a drink. Okay, she didn't exactly "buy" him a drink; they're free. Who runs a business like that, seriously? Out of donations and tips? Please. Must be funded by someone powerful to keep themselves above water. Not the point of this drink; he had only heard about such things in trashy novels and . Humans by other humans drink to show they are interested in starting a conversation. Perhaps leading to something more emotionally limited, but physically more demanding. Did she want his offspring already? No, too formal, too quick. Temperature of her face dictated that the amount of booze in her currently would not cause her to be making brash decisions, but that did not mean other substances were not in play. Humans tended to only want to do things with people they were unfamiliar with after consuming more of the alcohol or narcotics to help mask personal insecurities about their life. Which is why she brought it over to him to make him reach that level? No. She didn't seem like much of a spy, either, and I had not made any moves yet in this festival to warrant any suspicion. Couldn't be trying to make him talk about what I knew so far.

But if she did it to make a make a bad decision with her? That was possible. Humans tended to think with their libido more than head sometimes, and maybe that was going to be the case.

Could just be doing something nice for him, but that was a unlikely scenario. Though, it was a free drink, so it didn't matter. Rather complex drink at that, really. Clearly several other spirits in the mix. Not the point. Not poisoned, at least. Well, no more than alcohol itself is.

Had to do something with this, reactions are important and depending on the situation, it could lead to other risky scenarios involved with those two. Decision had to be made, and it had to be made quick.

There was a deep sigh from the Chiss and he took a small sip of the drink, slowly and placed it down. Was a bit strange, especially after the flavor of the whiskey on his tongue, but he nodded his head and turned to the two. "Thank you." was all he said, his voice a little loud so they could be heard from the distance between. After that, he just stood there, looking them over, trying to pick up on any obvious social cues about what he should do next.

[Omandri Rist]

"Such a tease," she groans playfully. Casting him a side eye and a smirk. Glancing off back toward the Chiss she shakes her head, "Not yet," she says, looking back with that same smirk returned.

"I'm figuring that'll change soon though. Got me curious and all," she says with a brief shrug. Hand laying out on the counter she reached over more toward his side. Extending a finger toward his glass if he set it down. "Anyway.. what else is there to talk about then? You figure out anything on what I asked you about?" she asks, raising a brow.

"Im sure you calling someone else a tease is the definition of hypocrisy." He responded with equal amounts of playfulness.

At her second question he rose an eyebrow "There could be many things to talk about, we haven't seen eachother in long while." He fake pouted a little "unless we have an all business kind of relationship now which would wound me so." He sighed dramatically but chuckled a little "Not as of yet, I'll meet with my sister tomorrow probably and see but honestly I'll probably need more details if you want me to be able to help much. These sorts of contracts are very.....specific. if I knew who the contract was against I could find it and see if there are any-"

And then the Chiss Riss had sent a drink to kind of yelled his thanks which didn't so much startle the doctor as just take him off guard. He turned and looked at the chiss man and then back to Riss.

[Riss]

"Didn't think we were talking business," she says with a raised brow, turning and glancing over toward the Chiss as he gave his thanks. Giving him a quick wave she lays her hand out on the bar top and oats the space for a seat on her other side twice, inviting him over.

With that done she looks back to Omandri, "After all, if we're talking business I'm usually getting paid," she says, bringing her index and thumb up and rubbing them together to add a little spice to her point. Laughing as she shakes her head, "I'm just.. more curious about the current stuff?" she suggests with a shrug.

[Nudimsu]

Well then, they invited him over. A obvious move, no doubt. This ploy here was still a mystery, but the best way to see the trap was to let it unfold. Bringing the brandy and the whiskey with him, he shuts down his datapad and locks it before making his way over to the table. He looked down and stared at them. "Hello there." He said with little fanfare. "Very interesting drink you ordered me. The liqueurs mixed with the flavor profile of the brandy very well. Though, it is a little too sweet for my own personal tastes, it is a nice concoction. I assume it would be your preferred order?"

He looked over at Riss followed by Omandr, merely waiting for the moment to see how they were acting on his arrival. Placing his whiskey down on the table, he kept the brandy in his hand, though he most certainly quick enough to go for his blaster before they could blink, should this turn south quickly. Though, for now that did not seem to be case at this moment. Place was rather public, not to mention their interactions seemed more genuine than something to lead him into a false sense of security. Either that, or they were professionals.

[Riss]

Riss half-turns in her seat when the Chiss proper approaches, looking to him and facing his direction with a craned neck. Regarding him for a second before speaking due to his odd nature, although perhaps it wasn't so odd for a Chiss, "Yes, no, kinda- it's on a list," she says with a brief smile.

"You're free to join for a few drinks, I think, more the merrier, mmm?" she suggests with a smile, glancing to Omandri as she collects her own drink in her hand.

Omandri shrugged a little the Chiss seemed a little off but most Chiss had met came across that way. They were more different than most other species. Bit he smiled in a friendly manner "of course more the merrier, please join us." Omandri said motioning to a free spot.
