[Day 4 - LA] The Beach Episode (Twin Event?)

[Hacha Tsuko]

Tucked away from the main crowd is a rather large umbrella. Impractically large really, and then butressed with tarps to increase the shade.

Underneath it sits a fully clothed Hacha, looking out at the water.

"I don't get it. Is the point to look at each other while scantily clad?"

"From what I understand..." Nudimsu says looking at the others. "...It's to relax. Apparently humans relax by wearing less clothing." Nudimsu said, making another mental note to the equation, though this was not a thing simply done for the love festival. "One could surmise that if they were completely naked, they would be completely relaxed. At the same time, I've heard that they seem to get nervous when that occurs out in public. So, obviously there needs to be some garments involved to obtain any level of comfort, but much of it can be removed in order to relax."

Not to say he couldn't appreciate some of the skin he was seeing, but that was just a baser instinct and could be quietly controlled.

He looked back down at the datapad and nodded. "Credits have been deposited for that job. Very strange woman, indeed. Her payment cleared, so that is about as much as I care about her. Not to mention the creature she..kidnapped..rescued..whatever. Not familiar with that species."

Walking by with an icebox full of beer Breela heard a familiar voice. "Well, well." She said cheerfully approaching the debonair 'as long as he keeps his mouth shut' Chiss. "If it isn't my buddy from the bar! I'm surprised to see you here. Hello there!" She says to the Duros, "Breela Po."

[Nudimsu]

There was a long stare at the Cathar. "I assumed the best situation would be more observation, given the situation that occured recently. You are doing well, better than the one in charge of that protest."

He nodded. "Sorry you could not save that foolish man, but a crippling addiction to illegal narcotics makes it hard." The tone of his voice was rather monotonic, only but hinting at his disbelief of what happened.

"Otherwise, have you found your romance?"

She smiled and rolled her eyes, "Your disposition remains ever sunny I see. As it turns out though we remain surprisingly kindred spirits. I too am here to observe, and as for Tuli's untimely demise... well." She let's what remains unsaid speak to her thoughts on the matter. "As for romance... well, I doubt it." She blushes but shakes it off, "How about you? Anything new in your world? Any more women vying for your... affections?"

[Nudimsu]

He paused and looks at her. Really hard to read emotions with this much sun throwing off the body heat. "My disposition is always well maintained; it's something I strive to do. The sun has nothing to do with it." He looked at her and stared longer. She was obviously not happy with this scenario.

"Say no more about the kid. I take no pleasure at a loss of a life, regardless of who it is." Turning over at Hacha, he then looked on. "Interesting. Well then, hopefully it works out for you. How would you say the atmosphere of this festival had effected your emotional state to find said romance?" He ignores the question about his own romantic interests. "We just got back from a small job. Can't give the details, but we at least got paid. Now I can start to properly do my task. Assuming, of course, I can find the proper gear for it "

She closes the ice chest and sits on it grinning, "Hmmmm, I'd say the atmosphere of the festival has dampened my desire at romance. After all it's riddled with filthy politics. Yet the great irony is that I wouldn't have met a certain gentleman without both the festival and the politics." She smiles warmly thinking about said gentleman. "I am happy to hear that business has favored you though. I keep myself pretty busy with my Gym, and my... other activities, but I hope you'll call on me if the need arises. I'm always happy to act as muscle."

[Niall Organa]

"Well seems y' can take th' boy outta Alderaan AND th' Alderaan outta th' boy." Garth quipped with a smile. "But Bouris weren't real keen on a rural relative, but found a tool he could use, Yula didn' fall far from th' tree neither. Bran n Kat 've been a breath o' fresh air in a stuffy castle though."

"T' be fair though, there've been some...intriguing individuals ah've met here."

"Yes, that sounds rather like them." Niall said dryly.

Then one eyebrow went up. "Intriguing? How do you mean?"

[Nudimsu]

"Politics is an unavoidable game that is played with or without your consent every day. With this planet's crown on the line, it would be foolish to expect something of this scale would not be swimming in it." Nudimsu said, placing his hand on his leg. "If we get the opportunity, perhaps I can teach you the rules of Shah-tezh so that you understand things better, but for now, just be cautious."

He was not thrilled to be made a piece in this game, either.

"Do not worry, I have your comm information still, should the need arise. I hope it doesn't, but one can never be too sure." Nudimsu says with a look. Especially with the enemy's Outcast now off the board.

"Hmmmm," she smiles amused, "I don't know the game, and while I'd be willing to learn I doubt I'd be any good at it. Don't get me wrong I'm not an idiot. I can recognize, even trace webs of intrigue, but my solution to dealing with them usually involves violence. The fact of the matter is I'm a blunt instrument without an ounce of nuance. So most of the time I keep quiet and let other people spin their webs. Until the time comes to drop the hammer." She opens the ice box and pulls out a beer. "Want one?"

"I'll be honest, however strange she is, it was the most fun I've had in a while. And I've been meaning to ask what you want to do with our new aquisition. I think it would be safest stripped for parts, but hiding it in plain sight..."

Hacha shuts up as a cat woman approaches

Gaul finishes his tan and joins the game with the others.

She looks strangely at the Duros Hacha, "Love... comes in many forms. Who would I be to argue? It's nice to meet you!"

Back to the present: She extends a beer to Hacha as well, "One of the locals recommended it, apparently it's brewed locally."

Kat sighed as Riss went on to kiss her and many of the others on the cheek. Riss just had to... be so Riss.

"Of course yer ladyship."
Sando hops up and continues sipping from his drink as he opens up the first box.
"Hutt Volleyball uses a bigga' ball. Kinda like a big blowup ball. Otherwise pretty similar except everyone playing it is usually bigger."
Walking along he opens a second crate
"Now grantha slam, that's a good one! You use this hard rubba' ball that can bounce off the sand and you just sorta slam it under a net rather than over. So you always get to slam the ball real hard at one another, it's real fast."

"The latter one might be a bit rough for a relaxed beach party. Normal volleyball should probably be fine...?" she looked to the others to see what they felt like.

Gaul finishes his tan and joins the game with the others.

It still felt odd to bow given the setting, she Kat settled for bowing just the head as Gaul joined them. "Wish to join a game of volleyball, your highness?"

"Yeah, who has room for me?" he said with a smile.

She looks strangely at the Duros Hacha, "Love... comes in many forms. Who would I be to argue? It's nice to meet you!"

"I do enjoy experimenting with toxins. It is a wonderful diversion from mechanical endeavors!" Hacha struggles with the cap of the bottle, finally reaching for a portable hydrospanner and popping it off. "And if you distill them enough, you can clean out engine parts!"

[Riss]

"Yeah, who has room for me?" he said with a smile.

"Hey," she says, coming up to his side. "Before you get into that.. just quickly, everything's good.. alright? Okay even?" she asks with a slight strain to her smile.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"Yeah, who has room for me?" he said with a smile.

"We should have room for you somewhere. We hadn't divided into teams yet." She looked to the ones around her. Cynella, Omandri, Aurilie, Riss... so six in total then when she counted Gaul and herself.

"So two teams of three then?"

Riss' exchange with Gaul gave her some pause.

Admittedly, Aurilie did wonder what would become of the day if they opted for the latter game but she would save herself from her own embarrassment at the very least. Volleyball seemed like a good middle ground. Considering that she hadn't played the sport very much, it would have been an equal challenge!

She reluctantly took off her hat, as she imagined that would get in the way of volleying. Gah, where did all of this sun come from all of a sudden? "I think these sporting occasions should really come more often."

"You two..." she rolls her eyes and gives Nudi the unclaimed bottle, "you're different than the others around here. But in a refreshing way. Cheers!" She takes a swig and grins. "I'm gonna get back under my umbrella, but it was good talking to you!" She leaves them with a wink.
